How to Spa
Please find below some key points that we ask you read before you visit the spa to ensure your safety and wellbeing and that of our team to provide a happy spa experience.
Covid 19 – Please do not attend the spa if you or anyone in your family is displaying any of the Covid 19 symptoms. Our team will be temperature testing on arrival and anyone displaying a high temperature will not be able to access the spa.
Sanitisation – To maintain the highest level of hygiene please observe our requests to sanitise and wash your hands regularly during your spa experience
Physical distancing – For the comfort of all of our guests please observe a distance of at least 6ft or 1 meter between yourself and other members of your party and 2meters between other guests whilst moving around the spa.
Spa experience – you will be allocated a changing room, locker and treatment room, please only use your allocated facilities during your spa experience.
Our compliance - Our spa team will be wearing PPE and observing distancing where they can, please respect that this may make their job a little harder but they will be doing all they can to ensure you have a relaxing experience.
Some facilities will not be available to comply with government guidance.
Advisory Medical Information- The Garage Spa is an adult only facility, only those aged 16years and over may visit.. In order for us to advise you on the correct treatments, could you please advise us of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your treatment options at the time of booking. If you think you may be pregnant, are pregnant or are breast feeding, could you please let us know, as there are some treatments that are best avoided during these times.
We advise the heat and hydrotherapy experiences not be used by guests during pregnancy on under medical supervision of any kind.
Arrival Time - Due to our strict booking system, in the event that you may turn up late for your treatment, we will only be able to offer the remaining treatment time, but may still charge the full price of the treatment.
How to Spa- We recommend you bring two swimsuits for your spa day. Please bring as little valuable as possible. As The Garage is not liable for any loss or damage to such items. We politely request that you respect the right of other guests by switching all mobile phones to silent and refraining from smoking during your visit.
Arrival Time – Please aim to arrive ten minutes before your booking time, in the event that you may turn up late for your package, we will only be able to offer the remaining time, allocation.
Cancellation Policy
Packages: We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel a Spa Package, within this period we cannot refund your package but we are very happy to transfer your booking to a future date.
If you do not arrive and have not contacted us to let us know you are not coming this will result in a 100% charge.
Group bookings (4 or more people): we require 5 full working days.
Terms & Conditions
VAT- All prices where applicable are inclusive of VAT at Standard Rate. Where changes to tax occur outside our control, price will be amended accordingly.
Spa & Hotel Property - All items in the Spa & Hotel remain the property of The Garage & The Morritt.
The Garage & The Morritt reserve the right to charge guests after departure for items removed during the stay (For example - but not limited to - bathrobes, flip-flops, towelling, items in rooms/treatment rooms and around the property).
Early departure - Guests who leave The Morritt or The Garage before the departure date specified on their booking confirmation will not be entitled to a refund for the unused part of their booked stay. They may also be charged a cancellation fee for the unused portion of their stay.
Valuables - We cannot accept responsibility for the safety of your personal belongings (including - without limitation - money or valuables) of any kind during your stay or your day package. If you do bring these items to The Garage we strongly recommend that they are covered by your own insurance policy.
Liability - (a) Save as set out at (b) below, (i) we accept no liability to you or your party for any indirect or consequential losses suffered by your or your party (howsoever caused), or loss or damage to you or your party's personal property, during your stay at The Garage or in connection with your booking, and (ii) our entire liability to you or your party in connection with your booking and stay is limited to twice the total amount of booking fees received by you in connection with your booking. (b) Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude our liability to you or your party for (i) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, (ii) fraudulent misrepresentation, or (ii) any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Packages will not be confirmed until the 25% deposit has been made. Your balance will be payable upon arrival.
